Frequently asked questions

Let’s make things clear.

From your first connection to your next rebalance.
Here’s how Rebalio works.

Getting started

Can I include tokenised stocks and ETFs?

Rebalio is built around the assets in your connected exchange accounts, including crypto and tokenised stocks and ETFs where supported. Tokenised products give you exposure to individual companies or baskets of investments, adding more ways to build your portfolio. An asset must be available to your account through a supported spot trading pair in your portfolio’s execution currency. Availability varies by exchange and region. Tokenised stocks and ETFs are different products from shares or fund units held through a traditional broker.

About supported investment types
How do I get started?

Sign in to Rebalio, connect a supported exchange, then choose the holdings and percentages you want to manage. Review your settings before starting your first rebalance with Pro or Premium.

About account access
Which exchanges can I connect?

Rebalio supports Binance, Kraken, and Bybit spot accounts. Each exchange connection can have one managed portfolio. Available assets depend on the trading pairs supported by your exchange and your chosen execution currency.

Connecting an exchange
How often does my portfolio update?

Rebalio refreshes exchange data in the background every five minutes. Check the last refresh time in the app. Exchange outages or connection problems can delay updates, so the dashboard is not a live price feed.

Your account and funds

How are my exchange credentials protected?

Your exchange API credentials are stored in an AES-256-GCM encrypted vault. Saved secrets are never returned to your browser. You can also enable an authenticator for an extra layer of account security.

How credential security works
Where are my investments held?

Your funds stay in your exchange account. Rebalio uses your exchange connection to read balances and place trades according to your settings. Connect with read and trading permissions; do not enable withdrawals.

Managing your portfolio

What does rebalancing actually do?

As prices change, each asset can become a larger or smaller share of your portfolio. Rebalio checks your allocation ranges and places market orders to bring holdings outside those ranges back toward their targets. It sells before it buys. Exchange minimums, fees, and price changes mean the final split may not match exactly.

Learn about rebalancing
Can I rebalance automatically?

Yes. Daily rebalancing is included in Pro and Premium. Start your first run, then enable a daily run at your chosen time and timezone. Only holdings outside their allocation ranges need correction. You can also run manually or pause rebalancing in the app.

What is an allocation range?

It gives each asset room to move before a rebalance is needed. For example, a 40% target with a 10% relative threshold has a range from 36% to 44%. Rebalio checks each managed asset against its range, rather than trading on every small change.

How allocation ranges work
Can I leave some holdings out?

Yes. Excluded holdings remain visible in your account but are left out of managed allocations and dynamic cash calculations. Existing Rebalio orders for newly excluded holdings are cancelled on the next run. Setting a target to zero is different: it tells Rebalio to sell that managed holding.

Choosing allocation targets
How does dynamic cash work?

You set a reference amount, a minimum and maximum cash percentage, and the performance levels where those percentages apply. As managed value rises relative to your reference, the cash target increases; as it falls, the target decreases, within your limits. The remaining target allocation keeps the same relative split between your holdings. Updated targets are applied when rebalancing runs. Deposits and withdrawals affect this comparison, so it is not a measure of investment return.

What do you mean by cash?

Cash means your portfolio’s execution currency held on the exchange, such as USD or USDT. It is the currency used to buy and sell your managed assets. It does not mean a separate bank account or a guaranteed cash balance. A stablecoin is still a crypto asset.

Plans and costs

How much does Rebalio cost?

Free is $0. Pro is $11.99 per month and Premium is $29.99 per month. Annual billing saves 20%: $115.10 per year for Pro or $287.90 for Premium. All prices are in USD.

Are exchange trading fees included?

No. Your exchange charges its own trading fees when orders execute. Those fees are separate from your Rebalio subscription, and market prices can move while an order is filled.
