Your funds remain on your exchange. Credentials, holdings, portfolio history and rebalance activities are stored on your host in an encrypted database. Your installation talks directly to the exchange.
Local authentication
Your owner password hash and sessions are stored locally. No cloud account is needed. Protect your password and your host.
Keys and recovery
Your login password and database encryption key have different roles. A host-side password reset cannot recover a lost encryption key. Revoke a compromised exchange key at the exchange itself.
